HOME LEARNING

Home learning is intended as a positive link between home and school to enhance children's learning. It should be positive, challenging and meaningful. Room 5's home learning tasks are to daily practise basic facts, reading and spelling. Our Green Home Learning tasks are practical and fun challenges that may involve outings, Bible studies, games, sharing a learning strategy, mini project or computer tasks. Please check and sign your child's Home Learning book and reading log. Look at the back of the book for spelling tests. Look online at nzmaths for families. Year 5 should be working at stage 6 by the end of the year.
